Starting February 2010 Room With A View and it´s core artist including me, will be represented by the french booking agency Audiofamilies. Allready working with artists like Alexkid, D´Julz, Damian Lazarus and Cosmo Vitelli since 2003. Here you can check their blog, with updated info on the artists and also a series of podcast.

Groove Magazine in Germany is almost like some kind of scientific publication in the world of electronic music. Very precise and accurate. They recently reviewed my latest 12″ Omerta E.P. and if your german is not too bad check it out here.

Music travels in mysterious ways these days, once it´s been released it´s just out there somewhere. Out of touch, in touch, to be heard or not. I´m proud to see that my music found its way to the origins of techno in the city of Detroit and got the attention of Stacy Pullen who charted my track “Alley Cat” as nr. 1 recently on Resident Advisor. I forgive Mr Pullen for misspelling my name (Joe Alter), he is american after all. Check the full chart here.

Finally I am proud to announce my first artist e.p. for Room With A View. Personally I think “Omerta E.P.” is my best work so far and it´s a great feeling to be able to share this work. The digital release also contains a fantastic remix from Alexkid. As soon as I got my hands on the vinyl we brought it out for a couple of drinks and finally Fubbi bumrushed the dj booth at Appartement to play the record. That´s the way we do it!

Some pictures showing the visual art of Dimitrios K at our monthly residency KRAFT at the legendary jazzclub Neferiti in Goteborg, Sweden. Kraft was rewarded with the prize for beeing the best clubnight in Goteborg 2008 and we were also selected as the “best djs” of the summer in 2009.
